International Cycling Safety Conference 2019

MeBeSafe presented two papers at the International Cycling Safety Confererence 2019 in Brisbane, Australia.
The first paper was called “Safety effects of lane marking nudge at a bicycle intersection” and was presented by Matin Nabavi Niaki from SWOV and concerned lane markings to merge cyclists smoother in intersections.
The second paper was called “Haptic nudges to influence cyclist behaviour – an experimental study“, and concerned trying to nudge cyclists haptically – which was found much less appreciated and much less effective than visual nudges. Read more about this nudge here
